The 11th Ulaknet Workshop was recently organized with the contributions of
The Scientific And Technological Research Council Of Turkey (TUBITAK) Turkish Academic Network And Information Center (ULAKBIM) and Akdeniz University. The main topics of the workshop were “A Glance At ULAKNET”, “Open Code Software Usage Applications”, “PARDUS”, “Wireless Network Technologies” and “Campus Applications”.
The workshop took place with 82 Universities, TUBITAK Bilgem Civil Certification Centre, TODAIE, Ataturk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History and 205 participants.
The said workshop was attended by EMU Computer Center Computer Networks Unit representative Yusuf Küçük and Network Director Soner Aksal. During the workshop, Yusuf Küçük gave a presentation titled “Campus LAN and WLAN Expanding Project”. The presentation that touched upon the latest wired and wireless technologies and campus applications garnered a great deal of technical and promotional interest from all participants.
