Introducted within the framework of Eastern Mediterranean University’s Community Involvement Projects, “Communication with Elders” initiative received intensive interest from the Eastern Mediterranean Community.
A large group of volunteers consisting of 45 participants paid a visit to Sınırüstü Old People’s Home. During their visit, community volunteers spent quality time with old people. The residents of the old people’s home expressed their pleasure in the organisation as well as their hope to have further visits as such.
Chair of Eastern Mediterranean University Community Volunteers Azad Kazan stated that they are planning to put similar visits into action in the near future.
