The “5th International Communication, Media, Technology and Design Conference” was organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Communication and Media Studies Faculty. The conference was held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia and was organized by Vice Dean of EMU Communication Faculty Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agah Gumus, in association with Anadolu University.
The conference was attended by approximately 100 individuals from 25 different countries and featured information about the latest developments in the field, presented by expert speakers. The keynote speakers of the conference were Mihaela Gavrila from the Italian Sapienza University, and social media experts Thomas Van Schaik and Maarten Reijgerberg .
The conference which is held in a different country each year is set to take place in the Italian city of Rome next year, organized by the Sapienza University.
