EMU Communication Faculty Celebrates World Human Rights Day

Eastern Mediterranean University Communication Faculty highlighted World Human Rights Day through a series of activities organised in collaboration with the Department of Radio, Television, Cinema and Journalish and Community Involvement Center.

The activities which aimed to raise awareness regarding the universal human rights commenced with a tree decoration and collage activity during which faculty research assistant Engin Aluç sang songs and played the guitar. EMU Communication Faculty Kazakh students Gulsaya Kaisagaliyeva and Raziya Assylgozina, gave a presentation entitled “Female Rights in Kazakhstan”.

Within the framework of the day, two talk sessions took place. Osmangazi University Architecture Faculty academic staff member Assist. Prof. Dr. Levent Şentürk talked about, “Thought and Site” and  Tegiye Birey  from Refugee Rights Association gave a presentation entitled “What Would You Do If It Was You?”.

The activities ended with famous photography artist and academic staff member İsmail Gökçe’s studio activity entitled “Define Your Own Rights”.
