Within the framework of Red Cross Week, EMU Communication and Media Studies Faculty Genesis IMC Agency, in collaboration with TRNC Turkish Red Cross Nicosia Branch , organised a “Blood Donation” campaign.
Having taken place under the coordinatorship of EMU Communication Faculty, Public Relations and Advertising Department and Community Involvement Center Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anıl Kemal Kaya, academic staff member Dr. Umut Ayman and Research Assistant Safiye Bağkur, the said event was carried out at EMU Central Lecture Halls between 4 and 6 November 2015. At the end of the campaign, a total of 45 units of blood were donated.
North Cyprus Turkish Red Cross Association Nicosia Branch co-chair Yazgül Manici, who took part in the event, highlighted the importance of participation in meaningful events as such and added that they expect more participation in these organisations. Unit Chair Oktay Erdem also expressed his happiness in EMU students’ participation in the organisation and extended his appreciation to Genesis IMC Agency for the event.
