EMU-CEC Introduces EMU School of Politics Program

EMU Continuing Education Center, in collaboration with Business and Economics Faculty, Political Science and International Relations Department, prepared a training program entitled “EMU School of Politics ‘14”.   Targeted towards the members of the North Cyprus political parties’ youth branches, political party administrators, non-governmental organisations’ administrators and activists, the program will take place in February, March and April.

EMU CEC stated that the aim of the EMU School of Politics ’14 training program is to contribute to the enrichment of the politics in North Cyprus.  The program which will be delivered by academics who work in the field of political science in EMU will include national, international and local topics that carry importance in the field of politics. Among the topics that will be included in the program are:  “Politics and History in Cyprus”, “Nationalism and Political Parties in Cyprus”, “State and Civil Society in Cyprus”, “The Place of Law in Politics in Cyprus”, “Fighting for Societal Gender, Equality, and Discrimination in Cyprus”, “Partisanship in Cyprus”, “The Relationship between Media and Politics and Political Branding in Cyprus”, “TRNC-TR Financial Protocol”,  and “Cyprus Negotiations and Public Opinion”.
