EMU-CEC Accounting Courses for Ministry of Education Teachers Concluded

Eastern Mediterranean University Continuing Education Center (EMU-CEC) has completed the “Expert Accounting Program Training” program aimed at educating the TRNC Joint Educational Services Directorate, who is a part of the TRNC Ministry of Education as per the signed agreement

The courses cook place at Lefkoşa Haydarpaşa Ticaret High School between the dates of 28 November to 6 December, 2013. The participants were educated on the policies of accounting and common practices.

The courses were taught by EMU School of Computing and Technology Teaching Staff Ayhan Tecel and some courses included Entry Level Accounting, General Accounting, Accounting Receipts and Accounting Reports.

The instructor took all the technological advancements into consideration whilst preparing the course outline and included the use of the “Expert Systems” Program that is accepted widely in TRNC as the accepted form of Accounting and Tax Applications Program.

EMU Director of Public relations and Press Office and EMU-CEC Coordinator Derviş Ekşici stated that the program was extremely useful for the participants and that the program will be effective in the development of the organizations. Eksici concluded his words by adding that for maximum effectiveness, such a program should be attended once a year.
