EMU Awaiting New Students According to YKS Results

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is getting ready to welcome new students for the 2021-2022 Academic Year according to the results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). EMU, the most distinguished state university in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, is among the top thousand universities in the world according to the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings published in England, one of the most prestigious university rankings in the world.

75% Scholarship for Preference 

In line with the YKS results, students who will be placed in EMU with their first three preferences in the 2021-2022 Academic Year are provided with 75% preference scholarships, and students who will be placed with their fourth and fifth preferences are given 50% preference scholarship. Students who will be placed in Law and Psychology Turkish-medium departments with their first three preferences will benefit from 50% preference scholarship. In addition, students who will register for EMU with their YKS results will also be able to benefit from the Credit and Dormitories Institution’s (KYK) dormitories located on the campus.

EMU, a higher education institution that provides education at international standards with its diplomas and accreditations recognised all over the world, attaches great importance to international cooperation. In this context, the university offers study opportunities at a joint International medicine program between Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine Faculty and Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, and a joint dentistry program between the Republic of Turkey University of Health Sciences and EMU Faculty of Dentistry.
