Eastern Mediterranean University athlete Tuğba Aydın has put her signature under a successful achievement by scoring a 12.91 point triple jump in the Turkey Adults Athletism Championship nominations which took place at Nicosia Atatürk Stadium.
Following her successful performance, Aydın paid a visit of courtesy to Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam. During the visit, Aydın stated that she spent great effort in reaching this success, which was not easy to achieve. Aydın also thanked EMU Sports Affairs Director Cemal Konnolu and her trainer Hasan Maydon.
EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Osam stated the university’s full support for Aydın and added that along with academic activities, EMU supports students in sports, arts and cultural activities. At the end of the visit, Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam extended his best wishes to Aydın in her sports-related endeavors.
