EMU Athlete Ese Brume to Compete in the USA

World-renowned Nigerian Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) athlete Ese Brume is going to compete in the Drake Relays Competition that will be taking place in Des Moines, Iowa from the 27th to the 29th of April 2017. At the competition Brume will be participating in the Women’s Long Jump on the 28th of April 2017. She will be competing to earn the right to participate in the World Athletics Championships that will be taking place in August of the next year.

Brume has been training for international competitions at EMU with her coach Hasan Maydon. She will be representing the university as an EMU athlete in the Drake Relays which will also feature some of the world’s best athletes and Olympic Gold medallists.  Brume, coach Hasan Maydon and EMU Sports Affairs Director Cemal Konnolu will be leaving the TRNC for the USA on the 25th of April 2017.

Press Conference

A press conference will be held on Wednesday, the 19th of April 2017 to inform the public about the important athletics organization in which Ese Brume will be participating. The press conference will be taking place at the EMU Rector’s Office at 4:00 p.m.. The press conference will be participated by EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam, Vice Rectors, Sports Affairs Director Cemal Konnolu and Ese Brume.
