EMU Associate Programs Admitting Students without an Entrance Exam

For the 2014-2015 Academic Year, Eastern Mediterranean University is giving admissions to associate degree programs, excluding School of Health Sciences, without an entrance exam to high school and vocational school graduates.  Candidates wishing to apply for the relevant departments without an entrance examination are required to fill in the related section in the EMU Entrance and Scholarship Examination 2014 Form and pay 10 TL.

EMU is also admitting TRNC nationals according to GCE A/AS level and IGCSE-GCSE O’level exam results. Excluding Medicine Program, 5 candidates applying for admission to different programs with the aforementioned exam results will be granted scholarships.  More specifically, one candidate will receive 100% scholarship, two 50% scholarship and the remaining two will be granted 25% scholarship. In order to qualify for 100% scholarship, students should obtain minimum 400 points, for 50% scholarship, 350 points and, last but not least, for 25% scholarship, a minimum of 300 points is required.

EMU ENTRANCE AND SCHOLARSHIP EXAM WILL BE HELD ON 5 JUNE

Eastern Mediterranean University Entrance and Scholarship Exam for TRNC nationals will be held at EMU Campus in Famagusta and at Turkish Maarif College in Nicosia between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, 05 June 2014. The application period for the exam has been specified as 02 May and 04 June 2014 and applications may be submitted to EMU Registrar’s Office during this period. Applications taking place between 20 May and 04 June 2014 may also be submitted to EMU Exam Application Center in  Atatürk Teacher Academy in Nicosia. Candidates may also submit their exam applications during visits to TRNC high schools at further dates to be announced later.

Similar to last year, exam admission fee is 25 TL and can be deposited to EMU’s bank account (100640) at any branch of Cooperative Centeral Bank or may be paid during application at the EMU Exam Application Center in Atatürk Teacher Academy in Nicosia. Additionally, candidates may submit the exam fee during registrations taking place within the framework of the high school visits.

During the exam application, students are required to submit a photocopy of the TRNC ID card, a bank statement, and 2 passport sized photos. On the exam date, students are advised to be present at the exam venue with their ID cards and exam entrance document latest by 9:30 a.m. Further information about 2014 EMU Entrance and Scholarship Examination is available at www.emu.edu.tr/dausinav.
