Eastern Mediterranean University hosted a student from Veneto region of Italy visiting the university within the framework of AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organization. Riccardo Rossi, who spent a month at EMU, shared his experience with two leading newspapers of the region, namely "İl Resto del Carlino - Rovigo" and "la Voce di Rovigo”. In his newspaper report, Rossi stated the international qualities of EMU and recommended other students to follow his example.
Putting forth that EMU is a high quality educational institution showing awareness towards social and cultural diversity, Rossi stated his fascination with the close interest and hospitality of EMU International Office as well as their colorful organisations that provided him with a unique experience for a period of one month.
At the end of the newspaper report, Rossi touched upon the benefits of staying in the same environment with students from a considerable number of different countries and stated that it is due to this multicultural environment that he has drastically improved his English. Finally, Rossi strongly recommended other students to follow his example to benefit from this unique experience.
