EMU and Famagusta District Governorship Collaboration

Headmen, Women Associations and District Governorship came together as part of the “Getting a Profession in Health and Serving the Elderly” project pursued by Eastern Mediterranean University in collaboration with the Famagusta District Governorship. The aim of this collaborative project is to promote the EMU Elderly Care Unit and train qualified personnel from unemployed women on elderly care and create employment opportunities. Famagusta District Governor Şifa Çolakoğlu; Dean of EMU Faculty of Health Science Prof. Dr. Hülya Harutoğlu; Vice-dean Prof. Dr. Mehtap Malkoçoğlu; many Famagusta headmen and women’s associations attended to this meaningful day. Additionally, EMU offers 50% scholarship for those who register in this important project.
