Elif Subaşi from EMU Receives “Higlighted Speaker” Award at The 5th International Conference on Tourism Management

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Law Administrative Officer and Faculty of Tourism, Tourism Management Doctoral Program student Elif Subaşı received “Highlighted Speaker” award at the 5th International Conference on Tourism Management held in London, UK.

 

At the conference, Subaşı got outstanding credit for her study titled “Consequences of Green Transformational Leadership among Hotel Employees”. Subaşı approached how green transformational leadership positively influences employee performance in five-star hotels in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, focusing on environmental sustainability. The study also delved into the connections between green service adaptation and creative performance. Furthermore, the presentation emphasized strategies to enhance employees’ green creative thinking and improvement performance.

At the end of the conference, Subaşı was honored with the title of “Highlighted Speaker” in recognition of contributions to environmental sustainability and innovative practices in the global tourism industry, proudly representing EMU on an international stage.

Officials from EMU Faculty of Tourism underscored that this significant achievement of Elif Subaşı has once again proved EMU’s influence on international academic platforms. It was also emphasized that EMU would remain committed to supporting its leading initiatives in environmental sustainability and green transformation.
