Eastern Mediterranean University hosted educational specialist and EMU’s Turkey Educational Consultant Süleyman Beledioğlu. During his stay in EMU, Beledioğlu delivered a seminar targeted towards high school directors, assistant directors and school counselors at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center on 14 April 2016.
Prior to the seminar, Vice Rector for International Relations and Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca delivered a speech during which he provided detailed information about Eastern Mediterranean University. In his address, Prof. Dr. Amca also highlighted the importance Eastern Mediterranean University pays towards internalisation and stated that EMU has already gained a unique international profile with a population of over 20,000 students from 106 different countries. Prof. Dr. Amca provided information about EMU’s accreditation projects as the university sees accreditations as the biggest indicators of quality.
Following Prof. Dr. Amca, Beledioğlu delivered his seminar entitled “You Should Act as the Brain”.
Following the distribution of certificates of attendance to the participants, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam thanked everyone for their participation in the event and stated that Eastern Mediterranean University is an institution adopting universal values along with national values.
