Chair of the Cyprus Turkish Journalists Association İzzet Volkan, Training Secretary Zafer Kodan and member Halil Davulcu paid a visit of courtesy to EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam.
Stating that EMU is a prominent institution of higher education, Volkan put forth that they have been closely following the developments in EMU and are proud of its achievements. Volkan wished the university further success.
EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam expressed his pleasure in hosting representatives of the Cyprus Turkish Journalists Association. Stressing the importance of journalists for our country, Prof. Dr. Osam added that the country is in need of skilled and objective journalists. Prof. Dr. Osam also expressed his appreciation of the Cyprus Turkish Journalists Association’s objective and non-biased nature. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Osam also provided detailed information about latest academic developments, campus infrastructure, and student profile.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sözen and EMU Public Relations and Press Office Director Derviş Ekşici were also present at the aforesaid meeting.
