Within the scope of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) 27th Spring Festival, the theatre production “Böyle Gelmiş Böyle Geçer,” organized by the EMU Theatre Club, attracted significant attention. Staged on Friday, 16 May 2025, at 02:00 p.m. in the EMU Activity Hall, the play was met with enthusiastic acclaim from the audience.
Written by Saadettin Abusalih, a 1994 undergraduate and 1996 postgraduate graduate of EMU Faculty of Engineering, Civil Engineering Department, and directed by Özlem Vardar, the production featured performances by Özlem Vardar, Saadettin Abusalih, and Özge Vardar Topçu, with sound and lighting design by Burcu Abusalih.
The thoughtful stage design and music successfully immersed viewers in the story’s mood, while the actors’ genuine and heartfelt portrayals vividly expressed the emotional depth of each scene. Thanks to its impactful narrative and strong performances, “Böyle Gelmiş Böyle Geçer” became one of the standout events of the 27th Spring Festival.
