Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Business and Economics graduate programs that have been offered in Nicosia since the Spring Term of the 2012-2013 Academic Year will once again be offered in Nicosia during the 2016-2017 Academic Year. These programs include Banking and Finance (Turkish) Master’s without a thesis, Business Management (Turkish) Master’s with or without a thesis, Managerial Economics (Turkish) Master’s without a thesis and Financial Economics (Turkish) Master’s without a thesis.
According to the statement released by the EMU Rector’s Office, the programs mentioned above have received great interest especially from civil servants. The courses are ideal for people living and working in Nicosia who want to receive a graduate education and expertize in a certain field. The fact that the courses take place after work hours are also make them very advantages for civil servants. EMU Rector’s Office also stated that planning is taking place to run EMU Faculty of Education and Faculty of Tourism postgraduate programs in Nicosia.

20% Discount for Civil Servants who choose EMU Graduate Programs
The statement also indicated that all TRNC civil servants will be eligible to receive a 20% discount in postgraduate courses they take during the Fall Term of the 2016-2017 Academic Year. Employees of private corporations will also be eligible for a 20% discount if the corporation they work for has signed a cooperation protocol with EMU.
