AEGEE Famagusta Participate in Agora Chisinau

The European Students Forum operating under the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), AEGEE Famagusta participated in the general assembly of the European Students Forum (AEGEE), AGORA. The general assembly took place in Chisinau, the capital city of Moldova.

Approximately 800 people attended the event in which AEGEE’s general elections took place and the future strategies of AEGEE were decided. European Students Forum Famagusta (AEGEE Famagusta) is the first recognized international student forum in the TRNC and its members have the right to elect and be elected in AEGEE elections. They also have the right to participate in project design processes in Europe. AEGEE Famagusta Chair Veli Nurluöz, Vice Chair Sadun Korhan and Public Relations Representative Ali Ersuner expressed their pleasure regarding participating in the event, whilst emphasizing that AEGEE Famagusta, will continue to represent both the TRNC and the Eastern Mediterranean University in the best possible way in international platforms.
