9th EMU SOS Festival took place at EMU Beach Club under the coordinatorship of Dr. Nazenin Ruso, executive board member of EMU Community Involvement Center.
Sponsored by Velocity Estate Agency, the event carried the aim of highlighting the importance of intercultural communication amongst different groups coming from 15 different countries such as TRNC, China, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Nigeria, Iran and Azerbaijan. During the event, colorful dance performances entertained the children from SOS village.
The festival which was participated by around 150 people took place between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During the event, SOS children were served lunch, swam in the pool, drew pictures and received various prizes as part of the competitions which took place all day long.
