A total of 100 entries deemed worthy of exhibition in the International Fake News Poster Competition, in which Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Communication Faculty is also a partner, are reaching the audience as tour exhibitions in many countries of the world. 100 finalist works determined as a result of the competition, in which more than 6,000 entries from 112 countries participated, will also be exhibited at the EMU Communication Faculty, Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Department Exhibition Platform next December. The works participating in the competition, which aims to draw attention to fake or inaccurate news in the media and to start a discussion in order to prevent this, will also be presented to the audience in a comprehensive printed catalogue.

Organized by the Poster for Tomorrow Organization and supported by the French Ministry of Culture and many important organizations, 89 jury members from around the world evaluated the works of the participants online. Among the online jury members made up of professional journalists, Turkish Cypriot Journalist Serhat İncirli, a lecturer at EMU Communication Faculty, also took part in the jury. The shortlisted works were then evaluated by the final jury of 10, and the best 100 posters have been determined.
