EMU Stadium
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is getting ready to organize numerous events with the intention of celebrating the spring with joy. Students and the people of the island will welcome the spring with the events organized by the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate.
To be organized for the first time in EMU, rap music lovers will get together by the virtue of the “EMU Sound Set Festival”. The festival to be held on Friday, 1 April 2022 at 18:00 at the EMU Yasin Düşüner Stadium will host leading artists in the field of RAP music.
Tepki, one of the famous RAP music artists, will perform during the event with his most popular song “Rüyalar” along with his other songs. Following Tepki, popular international RAP artist A Star will take the stage to perform his work including his “Kupe Dance” song.
Ayben, who is known as the sister of Ceza, one of the leading names of RAP, will take the stage at the event, where the participation is expected to be high. Participants of the event will have joyful moments with Ayben’s songs such as “Başkan”, “Rap Benim” and “Kimsin”.
Anıl Piyancı will also perform following Ayben. Piyancı started his music career at an early age and since then, has participated in many projects. In 2007, Piyancı established a studio called “Yeşil Oda” where today he continues his work at. With his acoustic performance of “Bırakman Doğru mu?” song together with Zeynep Bastık in 2019, Piyancı appeared in the most listened songs during 2019 summer category in Spotify. Piyancı will perform many of his songs including “Palavra” and “Döndüm Durdum” during the festival which will be open to public free-of-charge. Individuals who will attend the event are expected to wear masks within the framework of the pandemic measures.
