Eastern Mediterranean University Alumni Communications and Career Research Directorate (MİKA) is finalising the preparations for the Honorary Ceremony for those graduates who have reached the 25th anniversary of their graduation. Organised annually, this year’s event will take place at the Rector’s Office Building, Poolside at 7:00 p.m. on 18 May 2018.
Providing information on the event, Rector of EMU Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam stated that EMU is a big family with 20,000 students and over 52,000 members of alumni from 106 countries. Prof. Dr. Osam also highlighted the important contributions of the EMU family, especially its alumni, to the remarkable achievements of the university.
Expressing his hope to see members of alumni who graduated in 1993 at the aforesaid organisation on 18 May 2018, Prof. Dr. Osam stated that they would be more than happy to receive information about the successful achievements of the graduates at the event. Prof. Dr. Osam added that graduates of EMU are a source of pride for the university.
Director of EMU-MIKA Derviş Ekşici expressed his excitement and pleasure in the meaningful organisation to be participated by 1993 graduates. Ekşici added that graduates will cherish memories and strengthen their bonds both with the university and their fellow graduates at the event. Ekşici concluded his speech by stating that as the most prominent institution of higher education in the TRNC, Eastern Mediterranean University will continue to take firm steps towards further successes through the support they receive from the members of the alumni.
