Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has decided to start an aid campaign for people affected by the floods caused by bad weather conditions in regions such as Lapta, Alsancak and Dikmen.
EMU will open a bank account for raising money in order to help people who are affected by the floods. The collected money will be donated to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Prime Ministry Coordination Center to be delivered to the victims of the flood disaster.
Sensitive members of the society who would like to support the campaign can make contributions to the bank account entitled “NO MORE FLOODS” in Cyprus Turkish Cooperative Central Bank (KOOPBANK) with 11-304-6170537 account number (TL account).
The campaign carried out by EMU with #NoMoreFloods hashtag is set to continue until the 24th of December 2018.
