As the Department of Physics and Chemistry at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) we have no undergraduate programs of our own. Instead, our prime responsibility is to offer service and elective courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels for the other departments. The secondary role of our department is at the graduate level where we offer M.S. / Ph.D. degree in both Physics and Chemistry. Our graduates are already employed as researchers/staff members in different countries. We train our graduate students to address contemporary research matters and publish in respectable journals. In this regard there is much demand by graduates from abroad to be a M.S. / Ph.D. student in our department. To name just a few subjects in which our staff members expertise themselves are, cosmology, relativity, quantum theory and science education in Physics. |
