•         Panelist in research proposal evaluation meetings of TÜBİTAK (Turkish National Science and Technology Council)  (2005-2007).

•         Active participation in preparation of a common proposal by all TRNC Universities for the Law of Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council for Northern Cyprus. (2001)

•         Traffic Security Affairs.
Efforts to prevent accidents on the roads by various activities like development of campus traffic rules, awareness raising activities like organizing various meetings and conferences, collaboration with the police department, government, Turkish Embassy, Municipality, bus and taxi drivers, taxi drivers association, Traffic Accidents Prevention Association etc. infrastructure development projects like proper signing on the roads in campus, or in the city, preparation of road lighting projects, donation of speed control radars to Gazimagusa Police department etc.

•         Efforts to raise awareness in society for the development of a student-sensitive neighborhood and environment.

•         Meeting and collaborating with landlords, restaurant owners and managers, taxi drivers and Taxi Drivers Association, bus drivers, casino owners and managers and other shop owners to create a neighborhood that is cheap, safe and peaceful environment for students. 

•         Efforts for promotion of EMU and other higher education institutions in TRNC in various meetings abroad.
