UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO TECHNIQUES
This 3 credit course covered based theoretical knowledge on underwater photography, video housing techniquesand underwater photo and video practices by skin or SCUBA diving methods. It also covers methods of image techniques on scientific studies which happen in the water. It is open for all EMU students.

ADVANCED UNDERWATER VIDEO AND FILM TECHNIQUES
This 3 credit course includes high level theoretical knowledge on underwater video, housing techniques, marine life and underwater video practices such as underwater film productions. It also covers methods of image techniques on scientific studies which happen in the water. Only SCUBA divers who study at EMU can select this course.
INTRODUCTION TO MARINE TOURISM
The Marine Tourism has long been one of the most attractive settings for tourism. It includes those recreational activities that involve travel away from one's place of residenceand which have as their host or focus the marine environment. This course shows a perspective from wide spectrum of coastal and marine tourism activities to the students.
Objectives of the centre are applying underwater photography, video and imaging techniques; Research and publish new methods and devices to be used in underwater research; To use the technologies known and researched in scientific underwater studies; Making research about underwater living creatures, shore architecture, harbors, sea pollution, and the natural and cultural facts coming through history to date. The center is working on Istanbul and Antalya underwater archeological researches, Istanbul Kucukcekmece and Mersin Kalenderis underwater excavations, Cyprus turtle projects and man made reef projects which founded by EMU.
