EMU is hosting the “International Marketing Congress”.
EMU is hosting the only and the most significant “International Marketing Congress”. Based on information released from the University, the congress has been regularly held in a different city in Turkey since 1995, and the tenth congress was organized by the Department of Business Administration of Eastern Mediterranean University.

The Lusignan Prince was at EMU.
Lusignan Prince Philip Roux, the grandson of Lusignan King Jacques II, and his wife paid a visit to Eastern Mediterranean University.
Prince Philip Roux visited Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Güven and gathered some information about the university. Rector Güven told the Prince about their attempts to open a Lusignan Corner in the Library and asked for help on this project.

EMU Architecture Students are back from a Visit to Italy.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Özgür Dinçyürek, one of the faculty members in the Faculty of Architecture of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), arranged a visit to Italy with his students as part of the History of Architecture III (ARCH 121) course, and called the visit “International Technical Trip: Italy”.

EMU gave support to "Remove the Isolations" Protest Rally.
0 NGO's functioning in Gazimagusa, a private company and the Gazimagusa Municipality held a joint rally calling for the removal of the isolations, and the opening of the sea and air-ports to direct flights and trade. EMU Senate and DAU SEN gave their support to the rally.
