EMU Organised a “Cultural Meeting Exhibition”.
Cultural Exhibition Meeting was organised on 22nd of May Tuesday in front of EMU and Tourism and Hospitality. More than 60 students from different cultures presented more than 250 different country’s brochures, posters and academic reports that reflected the these different cultures at the “Meeting Cultures” exhibition.

Eastern Mediterranean University II. Sand Statue Festival and Competition .
The first being done last year with a lot of attention and demand for the next one to happen, II. Sand Statue and Festival was held on 26th of May 2007 at EMU Beach Club between 10:00-20:00. This year the festival was organised with the contributions of EMU Architecture Faculty, Fine Arts Club of the Activity Center and Famagusta Municipality.

EMU Came Back with 6 International Awards from Kemer.
6th International Kemer Underwater Days was held in Kemer between
17-20 May with the participation of many Turkish and foreign guests.
There was also a memorial ceremony held at the festival for Haluk
Cecan, who we lost on 8th of February.
