Susanne Güsten from German State Radio has visited EMU. Güsten met Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri, Vice-Rector of Promotion and Development. For about an hour, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri gave information about the higher education system in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean University in general. Susanne Güsten was given detailed information about EMU, more specifically the number of students, student profile, accreditation, facilities and educational opportunities at EMU. Güsten also had a chance to tour around the EMU campus.

Güsten expressed that she was impressed with the EMU campus and added that she was happy to see such a state-foundation university in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Güsten had an opportunity to come together with the German students and the German academicians at EMU which gave both parties a chance to share feelings and thoughts.
