Always paying special importance to high-quality education and student satisfaction, Eastern Mediterranean University rewards students with successful academic performance. Turkish Student Selection and Placement Center (SSPC) holds a Graduate Placement Examination annually. For students who are ranked between the first 2001 and 5000 students, EMU grants “Incentive Scholarship 2” as well as a variety of other incentives and rewards. According to the Scholarship package, students are provided with free accommodation in EMU Dormitories (rooms for 2), 400TL monthly allowance during the academic year (for 10 Months) and a netbook computer.

For the 2011-2012 Academic year under the “Incentive Scholarship 2” program, EMU Information Technology student Yasin Fırat Yenievli and Department of Translation and Interpretation student Murat Erköl both received netbook computers and a variety of other gifts from EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah Y. Öztoprak. Prof. Dr. Öztoprak congratulated the students for their outstanding achievements and success. Wishing all students a successful academic year, Prof. Dr. Öztoprak stated that Eastern Mediterranean University always rewards success.
