Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is preparing to host the AICEBS 2011 Asia-Pacific International Quality of Life and Environment Conference. EMU Urban Research and Development Center in association with Universiti Teknoloji MARA Faculty of Architecture and Planning have organized the event with the theme entitled “Quality of Life and Environment” commencing on the 7th and ending on the 9th of December 2011 at Salamis Bay Conti Resort Hotel. EMU-URDC president and the Vice President of the Conference Prof. Dr. Derya Oktay stated that the efforts to organize the conference have been going on since the beginning of 2010 and she expressed how proud she is to be hosting the AICEBS 2011 conference in EMU.

During the conference, speakers from over 5 countries will be delivering speeches related with the topic “Quality of Life and Environment”, and over 100 guests from 18 countries will be focusing on the issues of Quality of life and Environment. Prof. Oktay stated that excerpts selected from the best papers will be published in Elsevier-Procedia or AJEBS and ACEBS journals.
