Full–Time Four Academic Position in ELT/TESOL/Applied Linguistics, Department of English Language Teaching – Faculty of Education  

Job Description

 The main responsibilities for these positions comprise undergraduate teaching, research and publication, designing syllabl for the courses to be taught, serving on departmental and university committees when asked for, and advising to students.

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed a PhD degree in ELT, TESOL, or Applied Linguistics. All applicants should have potential for excellence in teaching and research. More specifically, applicants for visiting assistant professor appointment should have potential for publishing research in indexed journals in one academic year.

Term of Employment

EMU offers a competitive salary. The initial appointment is for eleven months starting September 15, 2008, renewable for two years, contingent upon successful performance.
