Full – Time Academic Staff Position in Computers and Instructioal Technology Teacher Education, Department of Educational Sciences – Faculty of Education

Job Description

Candidates for this position must be experts in Computers and Instructional Technology Teacher Education who would be able to offer courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and also supervise Master and Ph.D. students in their studies for doing research and writing their theses/dissertations. Furthermore, they must have a good command of the Turkish Language for lecturing undergraduate courses and a good command of the English language for both lecturing graduate courses and supervising master theses and doctoral dissertations.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a doctoral degree from a prominent university and fulfill the requirements of Academic Evaluation Criteria of EMU for receiving the academic title of ‘Assistant Professor’.

Term of Employment

EMU offers a competitive salary. The initial appointment is for eleven months starting September 15, 2008, renewable for two years, contingent upon successful performance.
